FAQ's

Where do I upload my artwork? Directly on the screen page, under the drop down box to choose “expose my screen” you’ll see an artwork upload box. Your attached image(s) will be connected to your order after checkout, so we can retrieve it and expose your screens. You can upload your artwork there, or email to us after placing your order, directly at support@neverthelessscreenprintingsupplies.com

How long will it take for my screen/s to ship? As long as “print ready” artwork is received, coated and exposed screens ship within 24-72 business hours.

What is “print ready” artwork?
Please review our artwork requirements found here.

What is "Image Area"? That is the total space available for your artwork.

Screen size and image area guidelines:

  • 18x20 screens – 10”x12” image area
  • 20x24 screens – 12”x16” image area
  • 23x31 screens – 15”x23” image area

How many images can I have on my Image Area?  You can have as many images as you want in the Image Areaon your screen.Be sure to leave ample space between images. Please Note: more images = more taping and this can make it more difficult to print with.

Why is the image area smaller than the screen dimensions?  All screen dimensions measure the outside dimensions of the screen. Then deduct the frame size, which is 1.50” all the way around or 3” off each dimension. This means a 20"x24" screen has a 17"x21" inner dimension. Your image should be at least 5” all the way around or 2.5" away from each inner frame wallso you’re not printing on areas of mesh that are too tight. So thisequals a printable area (aka “Image Area”) of 12"x16". This same equation applies to all other screen frame sizes.

What if I want my image burned in a specific spot on the screen? If you'd like your artwork to be exposed on a specific spot on your screen, just let us know your requirements in the Order Comments section during checkout, or place the notes on your artwork. If you have multiple images being exposed on one screen and want them in aspecific layout, this should already be completed in your artwork before sending it over. If you’re ordering a few screens that make up a multi-color print, then we use our preregistration template to get your screens to all line up in nearly the exact same place on each screen, making final registration on your press quick and easy.

How long will the image on my screen last?
We use high quality emulsions and post expose your screens to ensure a long life. Screens and exposed images can last for thousands of prints, when properly cleaned and maintained. Only use cleaning chemicals designed specifically for screen printing and only use them as needed. The easier you are on your screen, the longer it will last.

How do you know specifics and details about my image/print?  We don't, until you tell us.... so be sure to include any notes or details about your artwork, in the "notes" box at checkout.  (Example: sizing, print placement, adding registration marks, etc)  This will help fix issues and eliminate mistakes before they happen. This ensures you get exactly what you need.

Do I have to send proofs? No, but we highly encourage emailing us proofs of how your finished print should look. This will help fix issues and eliminate mistakes before they happen.
