USE:

This is a vacuum lid top exposure unit. Its purpose is to create the tightest positive contact between the neoprene blanket-mesh-emulsion-film-glass. Having tight positive contact to the point where the black ink on the film is firmly against the emulsion means that light has difficulty wrapping around the film. The final result — a straight, clean burn with sharp edges and high detail. Vacuum units are the superior tool for capturing those fine lines and tiny details on your exposed screen. The vacuum top has automatic gas shocks to effortlessly raise the lid. The neoprene blanket conforms to the screen when the vacuum pump is activated, drawing down the neoprene blanket to provide consistent positive contact between mesh:emulsion:film:glass. Then start exposing your screen.
